I got no tears to give for it as I never tasted that rotary honey.
I had to clean up the garage a bit.
Much better!
Seems right at home here.

I bought it when I was young and naive. I didn't check under the body and when I did it was so rusted that everything was falling apart and the fuel lines were broken and leaking. I was going to fix it up and have fun...but then my parents cleaned out everything and decided to mix all my bolts because they we're tired of seeing the basement turned into a junkyard. Now when I tried to get everything in order, I found out that the car's papers was lost and I could not prove at all that the car was mine and that I took it from Ontario (I live in Montreal) without them. So the car would never pass the inspection. All of this and the floor that was covered with holes created by rust got me out of this project. It was untouched for about 2 yrs now. I lost quite a lot on this but I learned from it.
The Miata is the replacement. The body is REALLY clean. So I can concentrate myself on the engine, trans, diff with it and also the interior that is ripping apart.

So you never even got to drive it?? :(
That's too bad. A little over a month ago I replaced my first car which was kinda a piece of crap - though fun while it worked! I had my 87 MR2 for a bit over a year and replaced it with a 95 Miata in much better condition with 125k miles only. Body's good but the paint - mainly clearcoat - is rough in spots. And my seats are ripped apart too! Frankly, I don't care though. Come Spring and I'm planning to get some cheapish coilovers for it. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I want to do with it. Maybe new paint.

I drove it a couple times...but not enough to say, I'm in love with rotary engines.
